I went and did it again. I bought Message in a Bottle, with Robin Wright Penn and Kevin Costner. Granted my favorite author is Nicholas Sparks, who wrote the romantic novel that the movie is based on, so I shouldn't have expected any less than total waterworks. Why do I love the stories that will never ever happen in real life? Darn estrogen.

Yay groceries!
I resituated my apartment this weekend, it looks pretty cool. You do realize there are only about three ways to situate a studio apartment...
This week at work I am at my regular job from 6A-10A, then at the support office from 10A-3P. That pretty much sucks, since there's no way in hell I'll get out of there until 4, and then I'll still look bad for leaving an hour earlier than all of the other office people.
I got my first "call out" this morning at the daily manager's meeting, by none other than the VP of the plant. Here's how it went:
Him: Well, everyone's doing a great job, except staffing. What's your problem staffing?
Me: The applicant pool is currently growing, and we'll meet the numbers soon.
Him: It's show time, staffing. You've got one chance to show me what you've got.
Me: Okay.
It will go much better in my dreams tonight, when the VP praises my good work and tells me he needs a new boss and wants me to be it.
Well, it's time for me to go watch the flip floppin Olympics...Tonight is the high dive. Maybe someone will do a belly buster. :)
