-- Personality Disorder Test - Take It! --

I just got back to the Haute from home. I wish I didn't have to come back here, but looks like that whole adult thing gets in the way of that. I guess I have some sort of insomnia or something, since the only time sleep comes if it's drug (Nyquil) induced.

I got a sewing machine for Christmas and I'm making a comforter. If I could figure out how to put a picture on here, I'd show pictures. I'm pretty excited about making comforters, since it seems to be pretty easy to make. I plan on making something for all my family and maybe friends. I need to name my sewing machine, so I'm taking suggestions.

Today was the family Christmas party. I stayed for about 45 minutes and then took off for Terre Haute. For some reason my stomach is all messed up too, so I didn't really get to enjoy the food or anything. Yesterday my friend and I went and ate at the worlds best barbeque place, "Moonlight Barbeque" and I didn't get to enjoy the food there either, my stomach was really upset. I just sat and picked at the food.

I really don't have too much to day right now, so I'm going to go watch some TV.

What an exciting weekend I had. Friday I went and saw Lord of the Rings...Saturday I watched Sopranos and went shopping and watched more Sopranos. (I rented seasons 1-3 from work, so I've got forty eight hours of this awesome show) Sunday was a lot of fun. I watched my friends' 3 month old infant, which is funny since I don't know anything about babies. That kid ate and ate and ate....I guess that's what you do when you're growing. Sunday night I went to a Christmas party that my friends were having, so that was ok.

I am currently in the process of hiring 30 people for temporary part time work. This one old hippie guy came in and said "you're as pretty as your voice sounds on the phone" And then before leaving he said "You need to stop taking those pretty pills" Dirty old man....

It sure doesn't feel like Christmas this year. I guess the whole "growing up" thing and not getting two weeks vacation from school has its downfalls. It's still not too late to buy me a great dane for Dec. 25th! Pajamas also work, but I'd prefer the dog.

3 Things I Blame My Mother For (and the stories that explain them):
1. My irrational fear of being alone at night.
This stems from mom and dad not letting me stay home alone at night until college. It also can be stemmed from always having the curtains pulled and being 110% positive the doors were locked before bed. Apparently the thought was someone was always out to get us.
2. My lack of kitchen skills.
My mom never ever showed me how to cook anything. For most of my life I assumed food magically appeared on the table, and my payment would be have to be doing the dishes...oh the fun of avoiding the dishes. Kristina would always "suddenly have to go to the bathroom for 30 minutes" so she's always get to rinse and put away the dishes, which was for some reason easier.
3. Fear of flying/overcrowded areas
These two go hand in hand. You see, my mom would never ever fly anywhere. I think it was because there were too many crowds where we wanted to fly to. We drove everywhere for vacations....which is always fun with two older sisters who forced me to sit in the middle of the back seat. I experienced my first flight last year. Nick and I went to Florida (one of those "crowded places"). I have to tell you that flying is no big thing.

SO as I sit alone at home, mildly scared of "what's out there" I blame my mother. Thanks mom!
