I am never ever doing anyone a favor again. I tried setting up one of my coworkers with my friends' friend. He left after 30 minutes.....It made me look bad, and I was just trying to be a nice person. Never again.

Today in the mail I received a Christmas card from the HR people where I did my internship. What a nice gesture, and completely opposite from how my current coworkers treat me.

One of the new employees at work was a chef in a past career. He gave me a great recipe for swedish meatballs...

Not too much has happened this week, I'm rewriting all of the job descriptions for our call center, and testing and interviewing people for 28 positions we have open for the season. My brain is pretty much fried from just thinking work work work.

I'm having a get together this weekend, and have yet to prepare. The only thing I've done so far is bought some food for it. My parents are coming up on Saturday, so they'll help me get ready.

Well, it's time to go buy an outfit for a Christmas party :) Yay!

Today I realized this:
Although you have eighteen million projects in your face, that doesn't mean you have to work on them all right away. Life will go on.

This lady I work with has six cats. SIX. Today I dropped someting off at her desk and she told me a "real quick story" about how her carbon monoxide alarm went off and how her cats went and hid. This real quick story lasted 25 minutes. 25 minutes is a long time when every time you blink someone calls and leaves a message. Anyway, I like talking to the cat lady....she understands that my dogs are like my kids.

Ever see the show Average Joe? I watched the conclusion tonight, and was utterly disappointed by the stupid girls' decision. She had an awesome millionare guy who had a great personality, but wasn't so great on looks, and gave it all up for a stupid 26 year old model who lives with his parents. Looks fade Miss Average Joe, but personality stays.

I am so mad I could vomit.
Last Friday was Hell Day. For those of you who don't know what it feels like to be held up at gun point, pray to god you'll never find out.

Babysitting was ok, I got to change my first diaper ever. little Lilly was a perfect angel until the last hour of the evening. She just decided it was time for her parents to come home, so she cried until they did. The fun part of going to Plainfield is, of course, TARGET!!!

Today was a really crappy day. I found out that I was nominated to be the "voice of HR" for the morale boosters at our call center. Fun stuff. I am becoming too busy to do my normal work, and I have no one to delegate work to, since it's just me and my boss in our department. *SIGH*

I have my stress pimple, and that's bad news. It's the kind that won't go away for a month. Yay... Time for some furniture rearranging for my get together this weekend.
